Why does my rego appear as invalid?

To qualify for this offer your vehicle must be New Zealand new, registered between 1st of May 2017 and the 31st of March 2019. If you have a personalised plate or have recently changed the registration number on your vehicle, we might not be aware of this. Simply contact us via and we’ll investigate further.

Am I covered by Roadside Assist?

You are entitled to ŠKODA Roadside Assistance benefits (including flat battery, flat tyres, vehicle lockout, and out of fuel assistance), 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Does the warranty expire if I sell my car?

The ŠKODA 3+2 Warranty Extension Policy remains with the vehicle if it is sold, including in circumstances where you sell your vehicle privately, thus helping to maintain the residual value of the vehicle.

When does the warranty start?

The 3+2 Warranty Extension Policy term starts immediately on expiry of the three (3) year new vehicle warranty provided by ŠKODA, which starts either (i) when the vehicle is handed over to the initial purchaser by ŠKODA or by one of its authorised partners or (ii) on the date of initial registration, whichever occurs first.

Do I have to service my car with a ŠKODA dealer to be covered?

All regular servicing must be performed in line with ŠKODA specifications throughout the term of the 3+2 Warranty Extension Policy by an authorised ŠKODA service centre and any parts replaced during a standard service or repair must be ŠKODA Genuine Parts.

Will this warranty cover my service schedule and or WOF?

Currently we don’t have extended Service plan offer and/or WOF included in this offer.

Terms and Conditions

Offer is applicable to New Zealand new ŠKODA models purchased between 01/05/2017 – 31/03/2019. The ŠKODA 2-year / up to 150,000 km (whichever occurs first) mechanical warranty begins at the end of your 3-year warranty. All pricing includes GST. This Policy does not affect or limit your rights under the consumer guarantees act 1993, but provides benefits over and above the act's guarantees.
